Chile Paine National Park W Trail Hiking 8 days * Speedboat entry

 

Line highlights:

① Explore Bernardo O ‘Higgins and Bainei, two famous Patagonian national parks, and find another way to start W Trail hiking.

② Equipped with experienced guides, 1: 6 service ratio, safe and worry-free; Support of excellent carrier team to solve baggage and transportation connection problems.

③ Have deep and extensive local resources, and be able to cope with route changes caused by bad weather with ease.

④ The combination of 4-night boutique hotel and 3-night simple tent is comfortable and does not hinder the deep penetration into the natural hinterland.

⑤ Packed lunch and dinner in restaurant are included during the hike. The logistics team will be responsible for tent setting up, saving time and worry.

Itinerary


Day 1 Fly to Puerto Natares
Fly to Puerto Natares and take the hotel shuttle to your residence.

Day 2 Bernardo O ‘Higgins National Park

Different from other institutions in the market, we first entered the hinterland of Bernardo O ‘Higgins National Park by boat, enjoying along the way Serrano Glacier and Balmaceda Glacier. Then, accompanied by birdsong, we crossed the beech woods to the shores of Lake Bruce, where another speedboat will be waiting and transfer us to the simple tent camp on the other side of the lake.


Hiking 14 km | 6 hours | 230 meters uphill

Hotel: Simple tent camp (dry toilet & cold water washing)


Day 3 Hiking on the Bainei W Trail
Continue the boat to the hiking trail (which may require wading across) via Lake Choate and climb to Rio Serrano within a hundred, where the shuttle bus will take us to a boutique hotel facing the mountains and lakes for dinner.
Hiking 13 km | 6 to 7 hours | 260 meters uphill

Day 4 Bai Nei W Trail hiking

Take a cruise to Gray Glacier, and after landing, hike to the observation deck, overlooking the magnificent blue ice sheet. Continue the hike along the lakefront trail to the north shore of Lake Pehoe. Finally, through the undulating landscape of vast grasslands and forests, we arrive at Paine Grande Tent Camp.


Hiking 11.5 km | 5 hours | 240 meters uphill

Hotel: Simple Tent Camp (Public toilets & hot water washing)


Day 5 Hiking on the Bainei W Trail

Follow the steep mountain path to French Valley, in the silent valley, Marvel at the hanging precipice Glaciers and towering snow peaks. Last stay Francis or Los Cuenos Tent Camp.


Hiking 27 km | 8 hours | 750 meters uphill


Dining: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Hotel: Simple Tent Camp (Public toilets & hot water washing)



Day 6 Hundred W Trail hiking

Today is relatively easy, hiking along the Nordenscheld Lakeside Trail, with different landscapes constantly changing in front of you, and the opportunity to see wild alpacas galloping. Finally, we arrived at the Wild Luxury Tent Hotel, and had plenty of rest to prepare for hiking on the three peaks of Bainei.


Hiking 12 km | 4 to 5 hours | 180 meters uphill

Hotel: Wild Luxury Tent Camp (separate bathroom)


Day 7 Bai Nei W Trail hiking

A single-day round trip to three peaks in a hundred years. First along the Asensio Ridge, flanked by beech woods and valley streams, and finally over steep moraine rocks to a turquoise lake shaded by the three peaks of the Hundred, while three towering granite boulders stand majestic in the distance. Eventually return to the hotel to enjoy a delicious juicy steak served with Chilean red wine.


Hiking 22 km | 10 hours | 800 meters uphill


Dining: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Accommodation: Wild Luxury Tent Camp (independent bathroom)


End of the trip on Day 8

End the trip by shuttle drop-off to Puerto Natares airport. If holidays permit, you can extend your trip in Chile or other countries in South America.
