Day 1 Arrival in Bergen

Fly to Bergen, the gateway to the west coast of Norway, and a special car will pick you up at the hotel to rest and adjust the time difference.

Day 2 Walk through the old city of Bergen and head to the Aurland Fjord

Take a morning stroll through the old town of Bergen, shuttling between the colourful traditional wooden houses of the World Heritage Brüggen Pier. In the afternoon, according to the water level of the season, experience the exciting level 4 whitewater rafting under the guidance of a professional guide (the rafting distance is about 7-8 kilometers and the duration is 1.5-2 hours). After the event, soothe yourself in the hot tub and enjoy a cold beer. Then drive for about 1.5 hours, along the scenic Naroi Fjord Highway, and stay at the Fjord Hotel surrounded by mountains. Stay here for two consecutive nights.

Day 3 In-depth exploration of Aurland Fjord (optional scheme)

Depending on your physical abilities and interests, two different experiences are offered:

Solution A (Lightweight Landscape Experience) Cruise the Aurland Fjord by assault boat (about 1.5 hours), then go ashore and hike to the alpine pasture halfway up the mountain (about 2 hours), enjoying the panoramic view of the fjord and waterfall along the way. Upon arrival, enjoy a leisurely taste of local cheese and red wine on the farm terrace and interact with docile goats.

○ Option B (medium intensity valley hiking) Spend one day hiking through the Oranda Valley (about 7 hours), visit traditional farms, waterfalls, ice age caves that maintain their original features, and overlook the continuous forests and mountains. The small shop at the end of the hike offers hot coffee or cold drinks for your rest.

Day 4 Head to the Josteda Icefield and explore it
Approximately 2 hours drive to Yosteda Icefields National Park. Depending on physical ability, there are two ways to get close to nature:
○ Easy level: first, walk through the pasture on foot, and curious cattle and sheep often take the initiative to approach; Then transfer to a kayak and explore the deep fjord quietly (the total duration of the activity is about 6 hours).

○ Medium level: Hike for about 6 hours, deep into the national park to visit the magnificent mountain glaciers. There is a red cabin at the end of the line, which is a great location to view the glacier.

I stayed at the lakeside family hotel that night, and the lakes and mountains outside the window complement each other, which is warm and comfortable. Stay here for two consecutive nights.

Day 5 Jostda Icefield Glacier Adventure

Under the guidance of a professional guide, wear a helmet and safety equipment and explore the glaciers of Josteda Icefield on foot. In addition to regular glacier hiking, you will also learn and experience climbing ice walls and rappelling on ice cracks (the total duration of the activity is about 6 hours, of which glacier exploration is about 4 hours). In the afternoon, take a stroll to visit traditional villages that preserve ancient farmhouses from the mid-18 th century.

Day 6 Go to Nordfjord and experience Ferrada

The drive is about 1.5 hours to Nordfjord. Depending on your fitness and preferences, you can choose from two different ways to experience it:

Protocol A (Easy Level) Hike to the quiet valley rarely visited by tourists, and follow streams and jungle paths to the foot of the mountain glacier at the end of the valley.

Protocol B (Challenge level) Under the guidance of professional coaches, with the help of the Feilada device on the rock wall (providing 4 different difficulties, including the highest difficulty route in Norway), you can climb the mountain next to the fjord from a unique perspective and way (the whole journey takes about 5-6 hours).

Day 7 Head to Geirangerfjord and explore

Travel to Norway’s most prestigious Geirangerfjord by car combined with ferry. Stay at a wild luxury hotel facing the fjord.

In the afternoon, take an assault boat from the dock and go deep into the fjord to see the famous “Seven Sisters” waterfalls up close. Then land and hike halfway up the mountain along the trail to visit an ancient farm built in the Middle Ages and abandoned in 1916. Continue to hike through the forest, enjoy the panoramic view of fjords and waterfalls from the best angle, and finally return to the town (the whole journey is about 6 hours, moderate difficulty).

Day 8: Travel to Ålesund, the city of art

Drive about 2.5 hours to the art city of Ålesund, passing the famous “Eagle Way” observation platform on the way, overlooking the magnificent highway with 11 consecutive hairpin bends. Ålesund is known for its Art Nouveau architecture, a thriving gourmet coffee community, and numerous craftsman craft workshops. We will take you to visit the characteristic workshops and cafes in the streets of the old city, and hike to the top of the mountain in the evening to enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of the city and fjords.

On the 9 th day, the journey is over, and the return journey is sent off to the airport

Depending on your flight time, a special bus transfer to Ålesund Airport concludes this vibrant outdoor exploration tour of Norwegian fjords. The small town of Alesund has a strong atmosphere of life. If you have enough time, it is worth staying for an extra day to explore freely. For longer holidays, you can also inquire about itineraries extending to the Lofoten Islands or Senja Islands in northern Norway.
