Tailor-made perfect sound for you who pursue perfection: the tacit choice between Toyota Ralink and German 0.3 frequency

Germany’s Ground Zero’s highly respected active three-way system GZRC 165.3 SQ ATC, with its excellent acoustic performance and reasonable market positioning, is an attractive cost-effective choice among products of the same level. Each unit of this system ingeniously adopts a 3-ohm low-impedance design. This technical feature brings dual core advantages: on the one hand, the low impedance makes the speaker have excellent sensitivity, which can more efficiently convert the electric energy output by the power amplifier into sound energy, and even medium-power drive can show abundant sound pressure and dynamics; On the other hand, the wider range of power adaptability allows the system to maintain stable performance under different output powers, and has excellent ability to restore and exert the rich and delicate emotional details and musical instrument texture in music. As we often say, a set of audio equipment with perfect performance and balanced performance, just like the same bosom friend, is only prepared for you who pursue excellent listening experience.

The owner of Toyota Ralink is a long-term follower of our social media platform. Before deciding to upgrade his car’s audio system, he conducted a long and multi-faceted careful investigation and comparison, and finally voted for our modification shop. The owner himself has a deep understanding of car audio modification. He knows very well that a successful audio upgrade lies not only in choosing the right brand and equipment, but also in choosing a professional modification shop with profound technical background and rigorous process standards. Because audio modification is not a simple replacement of equipment, in the “semi-finished product” state after the hardware is installed, professional debugging and tuning links often play a decisive role, which is a key step in transforming the potential of equipment into actual listening experience. We sincerely thank this rider for his insight and precious trust!

This audio system upgrade of Toyota Ralink follows the principle of scientific and efficient combination in the core configuration. The front sound field uses a set of German zero point GZRC 165.3 SQ ATC three-way speakers as the soul to ensure the complete frequency band and accurate restoration of sound. In the driving part, a Morel six-channel power amplifier provides independent, abundant and pure power output for each unit of treble, midrange and mid-bass in active split mode, so as to achieve the best control and detail performance. In terms of audio source, in order to maintain the integrity of the original car functions to the greatest extent, we continue to use the original car owner as the signal source, but its output audio signal will first be connected to a Magic Cube multi-channel DSP audio processor. This DSP plays a vital role. It performs high-precision digital processing on the original signal, including frequency division, time delay calibration, equalization adjustment, etc., to correct the complex acoustic environment defects in the car and optimize the final output signal quality to the power amplifier and speaker.

Next, let’s get an in-depth understanding of the details of this upgrade through detailed pictures of the modification process. As the saying goes, “Details determine success or failure”, the excellent effect that a set of car audio can finally present is constructed by countless thoughtful and rigorous modification details, which is naturally inseparable from the valuable experience and exquisite technology accumulated by modification technicians for a long time.

For a three-way system, the installation position and pointing angle of the midrange and tweeter units are crucial. We integrated and installed these two units on the A-pillar of the vehicle through professional mold inversion process. The core purpose of this is to create a wider, deeper and accurately positioned sound field, so that listeners can feel as if they were in the front row of a concert hall. This is a key step to give full play to the advantages of the three-way system.

A real shot of the final effect after the A-pillar reverse mold modification is completed. Its shape has been carefully designed, smoothly integrated with the original car interior lines, and its covering technology is exquisite, which not only achieves the best acoustic direction, but also greatly enhances the visual beauty.

It is the “home” of the door midwoofer, and its installation foundation directly affects the solidity and clarity of low frequencies. The following is a record of the whole process of the modification details of the zero-point mid-woofer on the Toyota Ralink door panel, showing our rigorous operation at every step from reinforcement, positioning to sealing.

Special note: The golden sound insulation and shock-proof material visible on the inside of the door was previously completed by the owner in other storefronts. On this basis, we carried out the follow-up horn installation work.

The wiring link between power amplifier and DSP is the lifeblood to ensure lossless signal transmission and stable operation of the system. All our terminal blocks adopt high-quality dedicated wiring ports to ensure a strong connection with minimal resistance and avoid signal loss or noise caused by poor contact.

The Magic Cube six-channel power amplifier and eight-channel DSP processor are installed in a centralized way and fixed in a hidden space under the floor in the vehicle. This layout is convenient for wire management, heat dissipation, and does not occupy the practical space of the passenger compartment at all.

An independent, secure power supply system is the cornerstone of a sound system. The picture shows the safety seat of an independent power supply line specially installed for the audio system. It is properly placed in the engine compartment and is the first line of defense to protect the safety of the vehicle’s circuits and audio equipment.

In addition to the upgrade of the sound system, in order to further improve the overall driving quietness and sound performance environment, the owner also chose to perform sound insulation and noise reduction construction on the entire chassis of the vehicle to effectively suppress road noise and tire noise from being introduced into the cabin during driving.
