Injecting soul into listening: Biwei speakers on BMW 325 Li provide a detailed listening experience
In the field of car audio modification, all top audio equipment can only be regarded as “semi-finished products” without professional installation and debugging. The decisive factor of the auditory feast that a system can finally present is far from the stacking of equipment, but how to integrate them into a harmonious whole through scientific modification technology and precise acoustic adjustment. The real technical gold content is reflected in whether it can stimulate excellent sound effects beyond the value of the equipment itself with the most streamlined and reasonable equipment configuration and excellent installation and debugging-this is the core standard to measure the strength of a professional team.
This time, we welcomed an owner of the top version of the BMW 3 Series. The original factory of its car has been equipped with the well-known Harman Kardon sound system, and the vehicle has not been landed for a long time. The owner put forward a clear and challenging requirement: all speakers must be installed strictly in the original position without damage, and the original car interior must not be damaged, but at the same time, the final sound effect must achieve a qualitative leap and meet his high standards. Car owners have a wide range of listening tastes. They not only love the charm of classic old songs and popular vocals, but also appreciate the majestic momentum of symphonies, and occasionally enjoy the surging rhythm of DJ rock.
Based on the customer’s car model, original car conditions and diversified listening preferences, we have tailored a set of in-depth upgrade solutions that take into account in-situ beauty and ultimate sound effects:
1. Audio processing core: Japan’s Bewith DSP-8-channel audio processor is responsible for the accurate reconstruction and signal optimization of the entire vehicle sound field.
2. Front soundstage main force: Japan’s latest two-way set of Biwei Duo-165 sets the tone of sound with its precise and delicate timbre.
3. Front soundstage midrange supplement: German Ground Zero yellow disk 5-inch mid-range unit, used to fill the mid-frequency band and build a solid and full three-way active system.
4. Ultra-low frequency system: German zero point 8-inch subwoofer unit is installed using the trunk side wall repair box technology, saving space while restoring shocking low frequencies.
5. Main sound field drive: Morel six-channel power amplifier independently drives the six channels of high, middle and bass in the front sound field in an active frequency division mode to achieve maximum control.
6. Bass-specific driver: American Rockford Fosgate R 2-500. 1 DX mono power amplifier provides abundant and clean energy for subwoofer.
7. Nerve choroid: A complete set of Brani high-end audio cables and power cords to ensure the purity of signal and current transmission.
8. Acoustic Foundation Engineering: The double-layer flute god sound insulation at the front door creates a solid and quiet working environment for the horn.

Full record of in-depth modification process details
In order to achieve a wider and more accurate sound field and a quieter music background, we first turned off the original center channel signal in the processor. This is a key first step in building a standard stereo emperor’s listening experience.

The original Harman Kardon tweeter space can perfectly accommodate the Biwei tweeter, achieving a true in-situ lossless upgrade.

Custom made special gasket for German zero point yellow disc midrange unit. The unique phase cone design of this unit plays a vital role in improving the clarity of intermediate frequency and the accuracy of sound positioning.

In the door decorative panel, the midrange and tweeter units are installed, and the craftsmanship is rigorous, laying the foundation for perfect restoration.

For the production of the cabinet, we insist on choosing high-quality environmentally friendly pine board, which does not contain any heavy metals and excessive formaldehyde to ensure the healthy space inside the car. At the same time, its stable physical characteristics are also conducive to sound performance.

The mounting mold tailored to the bass unit in the door ensures the best acoustic condition of its mounting angle, depth and tightness.

We firmly believe that details are the silent language of technology. Every wiring, every joint, and every reinforcement are shouting the core value of our team: what we sell is not only products, but also technology rooted in details, impeccable service and persistent pursuit of quality.

The middle woofer unit of the door is finally installed in situ and is integrated with the original car interior.

Regarding the subwoofer complementary box on the side wall of the trunk, riders often doubt whether its effect will be compromised. We must admit that if it is not modified properly, it will indeed lead to serious low-frequency loss and distortion. And this is the ultimate test of the technology of the modification team. The effect depends on three points: the selection and treatment of box boards, the sealing process and internal structure, and whether the final box volume perfectly matches the TS parameters of the woofer unit.

We adopt a sealed box design, and the modified effect completely fits the outline of the original car, maximizing the use of idle space.

Two power amplifiers and DSP processors are installed on the trunk partition in an orderly manner, with reasonable layout, easy maintenance and no impact on the storage function.

All power cords, signal cords and horn cords are treated with professional terminal blocks and welding technology to ensure firm and reliable connection and zero loss of signal transmission.

When all the hardware is installed to the highest standard, the whole system engineering enters the most critical and magical link-professional tuning. This is not only the final presentation of technology, but also the soul step of turning a bunch of “semi-finished products” equipment into “works of art” sounds.
