Itinerary

 

Day 1 | Arrive in Nairobi and fly to Amboseli

After flying to Nairobi, enjoy VIP fast customs clearance service, and a dedicated person will pick you up and assist you in transferring to a light plane to Amboseli National Park (about 14:00-14:40). In the afternoon, start the first half-day safari and start the wilderness journey.

Today’s camp is located on private property, bordering the national park, surrounded by acacia trees, and overlooking the magnificent snowy peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro. In addition to the classic off-road vehicle safari, you can also choose a more immersive hiking safari.

Days 2-3 | Amboseli Full Day Safari

Explore Amboseli National Park in depth for two consecutive days (you can replace a half-day off-road vehicle safari with a hiking safari according to your preference). As the second largest national park in Kenya, it is famous for its huge elephants strolling against the background of snow-capped mountains, and it is also an excellent place to watch lions and cheetahs.

Day 4 | Fly to Leiva Reserve and explore the wilderness

Take a light plane and transfer via Nairobi to Leiwa Private Wildlife Sanctuary in central Kenya (approx 08:10-14:50 including transfer). Start a half-day safari in the afternoon and get familiar with this vast pristine wilderness.

The camp sits on the plains of Laikipia with distant overlooks of Mount Kenya. Not only is it a private reserve, it is also a model of sustainable tourism, and all proceeds are used to support local communities and wildlife conservation projects. In addition to off-road vehicles, you can also choose to go on a safari on horseback or on foot.

Days 5-6 | In-depth exploration of Leiva Reserve

Safari the Leyva Reserve in depth with two full days. This is the most likely place in Kenya to collect the observation records of the “Five African Tyrants” (lion, leopard, African elephant, black rhinoceros and buffalo). It is home to black rhinoceros and white rhinoceros, which account for 10% of the national population. In addition, there are considerable lions, leopards, cheetahs, as well as rare fine-striped zebras, reticulated giraffes and Bessa antelopes.

Day 7 | Moved to Masai Mara and camped on the riverside

After completing a safari in the early morning, take a flight to the world-famous Masai Mara (approx 11:50-13:00). Start a half-day safari in the afternoon and feel the pulse of the grassland.

The camp where we stayed is located in a private reserve with excellent privacy, close to the great migration route of animals. The famous BBC documentary Diary of a Big Cat was shot here. The camp is only open to residents, effectively avoiding the crowds in the peak tourist season, and you can leisurely observe flocks of zebras and wildebeests in the camp.

Days 8-9 | Masai Mara Classic Safari

Two full days to explore the Masai Mara in all directions. As the northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem, it is home to a high density of wildlife, especially famous for the frequent appearance of big feline predators (lions, leopards, cheetahs). The famous Mara River is the perfect place to observe the natural epic of the seasonal “Crossing of Heaven” of herbivores such as wildebeests.

Day 10 | Say goodbye to the grassland and return to Nairobi

Final safari in the prairie morning light before flight back to Nairobi (approx 11:00-12:20). A dedicated person will pick you up and assist you in check-in for international flights (about 13:20-14:20), bringing a successful conclusion to this wonderful wild luxury trip in East Africa.
