At the beginning of construction, we disassembled the vehicle interior parts in an orderly and meticulous manner, and strived to protect the original vehicle structure to the greatest extent in subsequent operations.

The interior state of the car after the disassembly of the interior parts is fully prepared for the subsequent sound insulation construction.

Sound insulation construction in the chassis area is underway: first, the first layer of high-quality vibration-stopping plates is laid to effectively suppress sheet metal resonance.

After the construction of the chassis vibration-stopping plate is completed, it is strictly covered with a double layer of professional sound-absorbing cotton to absorb and isolate medium and high frequency noise and noise.

 

For the cavity structure of the carriage girders on both sides, we poured special sound insulation foam filler to block the low-frequency noise generated by the cavity resonance.

The first layer of vibration-stopping treatment is carried out inside the door to strengthen the strength of the door sheet metal and reduce vibration.

The vibration-stopping plate on the inner layer of the door is bonded to complete the effect, laying the foundation for subsequent sealing and sound absorption treatment.

Careful vibration-stopping treatment is also carried out on the back of all disassembled interior plastic parts to prevent any vibration points that may cause abnormal noise.

After the back of the interior parts is vibration-stopping treatment, a layer of sound-absorbing cotton is applied to further absorb high-frequency noise.

Professional sound insulation wrapping is carried out on the front wheel fender and tire liner areas of the vehicle to effectively block road noise and tire noise from entering the cabin during driving.

 

Update and install high-quality sealing strips for the five doors of the whole car to improve the door tightness, enhance the sound insulation effect and improve wind noise.

 

The inner sheet metal of the rear tailgate is also subjected to strict vibration-stopping and sound insulation treatment to ensure the consistency of the acoustic environment of the entire vehicle.

So far, the main construction of the whole vehicle systematic sound insulation and noise reduction project has been basically completed. Next, we will get into the core link of professional car audio modification. The installation process of speakers, the quality of auxiliary materials used and the professionalism of modification methods directly determine the service life, stability and final sound quality performance of the entire sound system. The first step of construction is to install a tailor-made high-density waterproof horn gasket for the front soundstage speaker.

In order to ensure absolute tightness and prevent sound short circuit, we applied special car audio sealant to the outside of the joint between the horn gasket and the door sheet metal.

The tweeter unit is installed in the tweeter position of the original car without damage, keeping the interior beautiful while ensuring the best sound field positioning.

The whole car speaker system is driven by this powerful Magic Cube DSP 604 A power amplifier, and its built-in Bluetooth module provides convenient high-quality wireless audio input. The soul of the entire system-the precise adjustment of sound will be connected to a computer and professional software will be used to set parameters such as delay, phase, and balance to a millimeter, so as to achieve the best listening effect of the emperor’s position in the car.

American Laifu’s ultra-thin eight-inch active subwoofer is cleverly hidden and installed in the space below the third row of seats, which makes full use of the flexible interior layout of Odyssey, and injects a solid and flexible low-frequency cornerstone into the system without occupying the practical area of the passenger compartment at all.
